Hello, I'm Mike Pomp sitting in for Richard Ager. Welcome to NH Outlook. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to statistics, one out of eight women will be developing breast cancer in their lifetime. Though there has been a decrease in the mortality rate of patients, the reason why is still uncertain. Joining us today are Dr. Diane Palladino a breast cancer specialist from Exeter Hospital and Wendy McCoole of Eliot Maine, a breast cancer survivor and founder of the local nonprofit breastcancerstories.org.
